The pictures below are a selection of custom and unique rune
sets made between 1997 and 2006. The custom sets were designed
especially to customer specifications.
The unique rune sets were made from unusual or rare wild woods and the boxes featured one-off individually painted designs not to be repeated on any future sets making them truly unique. If and when my health improves I intend to resume the production of unique sets when I can, and as suitable wild woods become available. I will not be taking advance orders or commissions. The sets will be offered for sale on a first-come-first-served basis. As they say in the supermarkets - "when it's gone, it's gone!". Making a unique rune set is a lengthy business, and it is taking me longer now than it did in the early days. Not only because I have slowed down as my age has advanced, but also because of the meticulous attention to detail that I now lavish on each rune in a set, each design concept, and each decorated box. Prices are expected to be in the region of US$200-300 per set to reflect that greater investment in time and energy. |
